STEVEN H. BANKER PRESIDENT, BROKER Steven H. Banker was born in Oakland, California, and educated in Orinda, California. He attended Menlo College and San Diego State University. Steve obtained his real estate license in 1976, specializing in Oakland and Berkeley commercial properties. He obtained his broker’s license in 1978, and formed his own company, LCB Associates, in 1979. Steve is the President of LCB Associates. Steve is recognized as an expert in East Bay properties. He has brokered the sale of over 250 properties in Oakland, more than 25 properties in Berkeley, and more than 320 total properties. He has been involved in over 1,000 commercial lease transactions. LCB Associates currently manages 23 properties. Steve has been qualified as an expert witness in Alameda County Superior Court and United States Bankruptcy Court. Steve is a current director and former chairman of the Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, San Francisco, and Solano Counties Better Business Bureau. He is the current vice president and treasurer of the Lakeshore Avenue Business Improvement District, and a current member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is also a former director of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, Oakland Association of Realtors, and Multiple Listing Service. Steve has experience in ownership and development of commercial properties. Steve currently owns or has partial ownership in two retail/office buildings in Oakland, four retail/office buildings in Berkeley, and one R&D building in Carlsbad, California.
