DANIEL P. FICHTE BROKER ASSOCIATE Daniel P. Fichte received his BS in Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute in Troy, New York, and his MBA in Corporate Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. From 1978 to 1995, Dan was the managing partner of Fichte & Graves, a small real estate investment partnership involved in the acquisition, renovation, leasing, and exchange of residential and commercial properties. From 1973 to 1977, he worked as a Plant Engineer in a plant manager training program for The Clorox Company. He then became a Brand Manager in the Marketing Department, where he planned and managed national marketing programs for consumer products. He coordinated new product R&D, production of commercials, sales, and promotion. From 1968 to 1971, Dan was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, Civil Engineer Corps. He served with a Construction Battalion (Sea Bees) during two tours in Vietnam as Company Commander and Special Projects Officer. He served as Assistant Public Works Officer, United States Navy Shipyard, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His duties included Construction Contracts Administrator and Transportation Shops Officer in charge of 300 civilian workers. Dan obtained his real estate broker’s license in 1981, and since then he has been active in commercial real estate in Downtown Oakland. As an owner, developer, and broker, he has been involved with LCB Associates since its inception. Dan is currently involved in the ownership of a commercial building, totaling over 30,000 square feet.
